The interior side of Sultan II. Selim is decorated with the most beautiful tiles of the 16th century. On the top of the lower window there is Baqarah Surah and Ayetu’l Kursi is written on dark blue background with white polished thuluth style on the tile belt that surrounds the shrine. In the both sides of the entrance door there are tile panels decorated with purple, .red, green, blue floral patterns on white background. Panels framed with rectangles are decorated with white background niches, red, green, blue peonies, leaves and flowers and oval medallion with dark blue background in the middle decorated with spring branches.
